Recently, I have updated my registered mobile number in SBI using ATM centre for getting SMS alerts from old to a new phone number.
I found this process is quite simple, that will be sharing this awesome method with you via this post. Neither you no need to visit your bank branch nor using the Internet banking online facility.

How to change registered mobile number in SBI ATM machine?
Step 1: First of all, visit your nearest SBI ATMcentrer and swipe your Debit card in the machine.
Step 2: Now you will see many options on the screen. Here, you have to click on the Registration option.
Step 3: On the next screen you have to enter your ATM PIN (4 digits).
Step 4: Now tap on Mobile Number Registration option.
Step 5: Now 2 options will be displayed on the screen and you have to click on Change Mobile Number.
Step 6: Now you have to enter your Old Mobile Number then click on Correct option.
Step 7: Now enter your New Mobile Number that you want SBI to send you SMS alerts related to your bank account and tap on Correct again.
Step 8: Now a message will display like “Your transaction is being processed, Please wait”. So wait for a few seconds and you will receive an SMS on your old and new registered mobile number along with OTP and Reference Number.
Step 9: Now you have to send OTP and Reference Number on 567676 in a predefined format (Mentioned below) from old and number phone no. both through your phone within 4 hrs.
Activate <8 digit OTP value> <13 digit reference number>
After sending text messages from both numbers, in a few minutes your new mobile number will be registered with the SBI bank account. You will be also notified through SMS alert.
